“Those who say it can’t be done are usually interrupted by others doing it.” – James A. Baldwin
Don’t dim your shine or dumb yourself down to accommodate the comfort level of others. Your productivity may just be the inspiration needed to get them energized to go after their own goals.
Your dreams are yours for a reason. Everyone else may not see your vision, but don’t be discouraged. Keep your faith in yourself and your creator to bring to pass what’s been placed in your heart. Shamelessly go after what you desire and live life to its fullest, because you only come this way once. The only person that can stop you – is you, so don’t allow the doubts of others to influence you to doubt yourself. Leave your mistakes in your past, and avoid those who keep reminding you of them. The miserable souls who depend on the demise of others for their existence shouldn’t hold their breath waiting on the downfall of a champion; they just might kill themselves. Never allow yourself to feel “less than” for wanting more out of life.
“You will face your greatest opposition when you are closest to your biggest miracle.” – Shannon L. Adler
To always strive for greatness epitomizes the human spirit. To incur obstacles and setbacks are natural, but to submit or crumble under life’s challenges poses a disservice to your creator. We’ve all been equipped with fortitude, tenacity and perseverance; tools essential for victory, we only have to tap into our source. To be human means that you contain the qualities that convert dreams to destiny, desires to reality and goals to success. Nothing compares to the powerful greatness that’s been instilled in you, absolutely nothing!
“To get up when you are down, to fight more intensely when you are struggling; to put in the extra effort when you are in sheer pain, to come back when nobody expects you to, and to stand tall when everybody is pulling you down are what make you a champion.” – Apoorve Dubey
Tomorrow – (noun) a mystical land where 99% of all human productivity, motivation and achievement is stored.
Create a sense of urgency and invest your time and energy where it will pay the Greatest Dividends:
Time is more valuable than money, and you wouldn’t intentionally throw your money away (which can be replaced), so why would you throw away your time (which can never be recovered). Be more mindful of the use of your precious moments. Limit your time on social media, or if you can go on a social media fast (where you cut it out completely for a while). Limit your television, video games, unproductive conversations and news watching. Take advantage of the time consumed by devices and invest that time into your growth, development and ultimate success.
Finish this year in the right direction by staying focused on your goals and all that you want to accomplish. Don’t invest your time and/or energy where it doesn’t bring you a return, and take your time but hurry! Take your time acquiring all the knowledge and the skills necessary for your goals, and once you’ve acquired the know-how; don’t waste another second. Create a sense of urgency and hurry up toward your success!
“The trouble is, you think you have time.” – Buddah’s Little Instuction Book
When it gets hard, don’t give out. When it hurts, don’t give in. When you get rejected, don’t give up. The first sign of apparent failure is not the time to quit. You possess Genius level talent. You Are Magnificent, Quit Quitting On The Amazing Power Of YOU!
You’re waiting on your miracle, but you are a Miracle! Recognize that you are a gift with a destiny and that health, happiness, and prosperity is your birthright. You decide your significance, and your world is a reflection of your own mental attitude towards yourself. Now’s the time to respect, honor, and appreciate the person that you are. You are priceless, irreplaceable, and full of purpose. Life presents its problems, but you are a problem solving machine. Know that nothing that comes against you is as powerful as what’s inside of you.
“I hated every minute of training, but I said, ‘Don’t quit. Suffer now and live the rest of your life as a champion.” – Muhammad Ali
Some people will perform spring cleaning in their homes or businesses, but will refuse to do it for their lives. The amount of time us humans spend on earth is far too short to allow our existence to be cluttered with distractions. If we’re not careful our lives become congested with damaged emotions, things, activities, foods, and even people that hold us back and weigh us down. It’s time to trim the fat and to drop the dead weight. Your load needs to be lightened so that you can streamline your focus and accelerate your “goal-getting”. Maximize your moments and be the conqueror you were born to be!
“You wanna fly, you got to give up the s#!t that weighs you down.” – Toni Morrison, Song of Soloman
“You don’t ever have to feel guilty about removing toxic people from your life. It doesn’t matter whether someone is a relative, romantic interest, employer, childhood friend, or a new acquaintance — you don’t have to make room for people who cause you pain or make you feel small. It’s one thing if a person owns up to their behavior and makes an effort to change. But if a person disregards your feelings, ignores your boundaries, and “continues” to treat you in a harmful way, they need to go.”― Daniell Koepke
Be like a tree and let the dead leaves drop. ~ Rumi
Drop The Dead Weight. Trim The Fat. Lighten Your Load. Purge Your Amazing Gift Of Life, and Stay Motivated! – Dwaun S. Cox
It Will Be Hard. You Will Get Hurt. People Will Be Jealous. You Will Want To Quit. You Will Keep On. It Will Be Worth It. YOU WILL WIN. – Robin Sharma
Anyone alive has survived something. It’s now time to kick your overcomer skills into overdrive. If you haven’t realized it yet, I want to let you know that – YOU CAN’T BE STOPPED! Whatever or whoever was or has been attempting to defeat you should’ve tried harder a long time ago. It’s too late now, your momentum is built up, you got your mojo back and you are stronger than ever. You’re on a path to achievement! You just have to recognize it, acknowledge it and above all believe it! You already have what it takes, and I know it may not be easy but you not giving up will be well worth it. You have been created for success!
For many people the idea of having what they want from life has become non existent. They feel like their time has passed to be able to truly enjoy life, and now they must settle. They make comments such as, “If I had it to do all over again”, “If I could start all over”, or “If I could go back in time”. Getting a do over of this life is not possible, but there’s good news; you can do even better.
You may not be able to start over from scratch but you can “begin again”. You can forgive yourself for any shortcoming, recommit yourself to your betterment and get back on track. Reevaluate your past attempts, eliminate what hindered your progress and do more of what assisted in your victories. As long as you have have breath in your body, you can change your perspective. Utilize your past experiences, failures and triumphs to guide you towards more of what desire to have in your life. It’s ok to reflect back on your past, just ensure that you are learning from your history. Be mindful not to languish in past hurts, disappointments, and failures. Learn from the subtractions so that they can become an addition to you moving towards your best you. Keep your eyes on the prize and become an active participant in you living a dynamic life. Look back for experience, look forward for inspiration. Keep moving forward and refuse to quit.
Don’t limit yourself by saying what you can’t do or by professing that your dreams will never manifest. Stay focused, resilient and most of all patient. Expect great things to happen to you and through you, and don’t be surprised when it does; a lot can happen between now and never.
Things happen in our lives that are at times out of our control, extremely painful and cause us to question the meaning of our existence. The problem with our problems is that they are not always our fault so we feel that we are powerless or not obligated to solve them. We put the blame on whatever caused them and sit there with our lip poked out and our arms crossed demanding a resolution.
We may not be the cause of our problems, and we may not know how to solve them, but we still possess the ability to respond (RESPONSE-ABILITY). We have an obligation to ourselves to not allow what we feel is an issue in our lives to consume us and destroy us from within. We can respond in faith knowing that we have a purpose, knowing that the only thing that is permanent is change, and knowing that its not over until we win. We can ill afford for our dilemma’s to infect our attitude, our self-image; and most of all our belief that something better awaits us.
Worry, doubt and fear from perceived problems cause unnecessary stress. Stress that causes cancer, high blood pressure, heart disease and a list of endless ill’s. The only people without problems are those in the cemetery. We will have problems all of our lives, but how we respond to them will determine not only outcome of the difficulty, but also the care and concern we have for our own mental, physical and spiritual health
When you’re facing an obstacle, make it a stepping stone by responding to it with unrelenting resilience, fearless faith, and perfect peace. You may not be able to control the problem but you can control how you respond to it, it’s your responsibility, take back your power by using it!
People are going to have their preconceived notions about you, and that shouldn’t be your concern; it’s their issue and theirs alone. It’s not your problem, leave that with them and let them deal with and sort out their own issue. Always work at becoming a better you, for yourself and for those who appreciate your presence in their lives. Don’t let the small minded, miserable, bitter individuals of this world keep you distraught, discouraged or downtrodden.
You will simply never be enough for some people. No matter what you do, they will never like you. Don’t waste the priceless moments of your precious life striving to win these people over. They have made up their mind and you will torture yourself by agonizing about if or when they will ever change their decision.
“Never hate you enemies, it affects your judgement” – Mario Puzo
Some people will only like you, or care for you when it suits them or when it accommodates their plan to control what you do with your life. That’s not a relationship, it’s a sinking ship. Refuse to be intimidated and manipulated by people and forget about trying to please everybody. Don’t live your life worried about what everyone else thinks. Some people will find a excuse not to like you, and if they don’t find one, they’ll make up one. Whether it’s what you wear, who you date, your political views, what you post, how you feel, what you believe in or what you have; if people decide to be against you they’ll find a reason.
“Always forgive your enemies, nothing annoys them so much” – Oscar Wilde.
Don’t allow the perceptions and judgements of others to prevent you from being who you were created to become. Conforming your life to how others would have you to live is the true enemy of human happiness. There’s no need wasting valuable energy repaying the sentiments of the malicious with retribution, they don’t deserve that much control. Trust me, those people are already suffering. You’ll do yourself a favor just by disposing of the affiliation. Above all, remember that you were born with a purpose, full of energy within you to achieve the unthinkable and to perform the impossible. Believe in who you are, become your own #1 fan, and do everything in your power to LOVE YOURSELF!
“All transformation begins with an intense, burning desire to be transformed. The first step in the ‘renewing of the mind’ is desire. You must want to be different [and intend to be] before you can begin to change yourself. Then you must make your future dream a present fact. You do this by assuming the feeling of your wish fulfilled. By desiring to be other than what you are, you can create an ideal of the person you want to be and assume that you are already that person. If this assumption is persisted in until it becomes your dominant feeling, the attainment of your ideal is inevitable.
Here is a simple formula for successful fishing. First decide what it is you want to express or possess. This is essential. You must definitely know what you want of life before you can fish for it. After your decision is made, turn from the world of sense, remove your attention from the problem and place it on just being by repeating quietly but with feeling, “I AM.” As your attention is removed from the world round about you and placed upon the I AM so that you are lost in the feeling of simply being, you will find yourself slipping the anchor that tied you to the shallows of your problem; and effortlessly you will find yourself moving out into the deep.”- Neville Goddard
Contrary to popular belief, there is no bliss in ignorance, and there is no issue in life that does not contain a solution. We all have Faced an outsized challenge and have been forced to respond. Facing overwhelming odds produces greatness and beauty. Giants are not what we think they are, and being an underdog can change people in ways that we often fail to appreciate. It can open doors, create opportunities, enlighten, educate, and make possible what otherwise would’ve seemed unthinkable.
“If you worry about hurting people’s feelings and disturbing the social structure, you’re not going to put your ideas forward.” – Malcolm Gladwell
“The reasonable man adapts himself to the world. The unreasonable one persists in trying to adapt the world to himself. Therefore, all progress depends on the unreasonable man.” – George Bernard Shaw.
Not all difficulties are negative, adversarial people, places and things can be used to develop your strength and your perseverance. Be brave and courageous. Courage is something you earn when you’ve been through the tough times and you discover that they’re not so tough after all. Be afraid of being afraid. You are an Indomitable force. Slay your Goliath with faith and action as your slingshot, be the Champion you know you’re supposed to be, and Stay Motivated
“When you are battling your Goliath – Stay Motivated!
When there is a drought in your season – Stay Motivated!
When your heart is broken – Stay Motivated!
When you make mistakes, are criticized or condemned – Stay Motivated!
And when doubts attempt to seep into the recesses of your mind, and you want to give up – Stay Motivated!
Make it your life’s goal to Stay Motivated, because the interior potency of motivation is the key. It unlocks the vault of undeniable energy within you that does not know lack, limitation or defeat. It’s an immense power that turns goals into accomplishments, imagination into reality, and makes dreams come true. You can create the life you’ve always envisioned for yourself. You can achieve all the success you desire. Never give up on yourself and always Stay Motivated!”
– Dwaun S. Cox
If you plan on being anything less than you are capable of being, you will probably be unhappy all the days of your life.-Abraham Maslow
For the most part we trade our lives for a lot less than they’re worth, then we become who we are because we accept a lie that we were not worth anything more. The dreams, visions and desires that you have for your life are there for a reason; to be achieved. You are greater than your circumstances. It is in our DNA to always want to become more of who we are, and we should never ignore that urge within ourselves to reach higher.
The greater danger for most of us is not that our aim is too high and we miss it; but that it is too low, and we reach it.-Michelangelo
Nothing in this world can take the place of persistence. Talent will not: nothing is more common than unsuccessful men with talent. Genius will not; unrewarded genius is almost a proverb. Education will not: the world is full of educated derelicts. Persistence and determination alone are omnipotent.- Calvin Coolidge
“Success presupposes the willingness to bear pain.” – Peter J. Daniels
The phrase no pain, no gain is a universal mantra that applies to every human being on earth. Actually even without gain, pain will be with each and every one of us to some degree or another during the course of our entire lives.
Pain is an indicator of discomfort. It indicates grief, sorrow, disappointment, growth, and even sacrifice.
As humans we’ve been taught to avoid pain, but when pain is unavoidable we need to be able to endure and not give up, because on the other side of pain is success. Pain is inevitable but being able to keep going even when it hurts, separates the victim from the victorious.
Pain is an emotion that we all feel yet many of us don’t see the benefit of it. At times avoiding pain prevents the privilege of reward. Giving up on the pain of sacrifice ruins what would’ve been a great relationship, giving up on the pain of problem solving ruins what would’ve been a great businesses. Even when excercising giving up to avoid the pain of being sore, or the pain eating clean prevents us from growing stronger and developing what would’ve been a better physique.
Like stepping on hot asphalt with no shoes on, pain will make you move in one direction or the other. Don’t allow your pain to cause you to digress. When your pain hits you the hardest, be as determined as ever to move forward with progress. It’s always darkest before dawn and in life we usually get our second wind when the going is the toughest. There is something in us that thrives on difficulties. We are designed with physical and mental resources for outlasting pain. We cherish triumphs more that cost us extra effort to win. We need to be challenged, tested and encounter unusual hardships to see what we are capable of overcoming and achieving. When we realize that the power to meet any emergency is within ourselves and that pain is an indicator to rise to the challenge, we build our self confidence, our self reliance and our self esteem. Three traits essential for living a life without limits. So embrace and endure the pleasure of pain, because it truly is a wise teacher and an accurate guide.
“Most people are other people. Their thoughts are someone else’s opinions, their lives a mimicry, their passions a quotation.”-Oscar Wilde
There is something you are to do, that only you can do, its your purpose. It’s your destiny. Don’t be dismayed by the way other people want you to live YOUR life. Learn to do your own thinking, because if you don’t, others will do your thinking for you. You are one of God’s ideas, and you have the right to be all that you have been designed to be. Stop asking permission to half-heartedly be yourself, live YOUR life; and not the life that others have concocted for you. What is it that you’ve been wanting to do to advance your journey? Whatever it is, don’t debate with others about whether it’s ok, just go after it with all you’ve got.
“You are one of one for a reason. It’s a gift to be different, a blessing to be unique, and there’s an advantage to being an original. You can’t get what’s yours while striving to be somebody else. Embrace your individuality, so you can appreciate everyone else’s.”-Dwaun Cox
No matter what your job title at work is, you are the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of your life. You are 100% responsible for your life; its happiness; its wealth and health. You choose the Executive Officers, also known as the people who will support and help you the best way they can throughout your life. You decide your goals and how they will be pursued. You decide your relationships and the identity of your stakeholders (those who have invested into you).
The power to pick and choose how you live your life belongs to you. You have a God given right to design the blueprint of your success. You are also responsible if your plans are aborted. You must pursue success in order to achieve it. There is no script for failure, just stop pursuing success and you will fail unopposed. Good personal leadership will ultimately reflect in the choices we make, the relationships we cut off or keep and the direction of investment of our heart, finances and intellect.
You are the CEO of your life, rule yourself well. You are responsible for where you are and where you end up. Stand on wisdom to respond, adjust, adapt and thrive. Stand on maturity to manage, direct and supervise every sphere of your life until profits manifest.
Do not wish challenges away; face them, conquer them! Do not sweep them under the carpet; have the audacious courage to drop the bombshell and let the pieces fall where they may. Now go, win and stay motivated!
“Your words reveal your beliefs. Your behavior tells us your values. What you do today tells the world how you feel about yourself.” – Robin Sharma
The hand you’re dealt is just the starting point for development. The growth mindset has to be administered in order for you to maximize your potential. The growth mindset is based on the belief that your basic qualities are things you can cultivate through your efforts.
People may differ in every way, but everyone can change and grow through application and experience. A persons true potential is unknown and unknowable. It’s impossible to foresee what can be accomplished with years of passion, toil and training. The belief that cherished qualities can be developed creates a passion for learning.
Why waste time proving over and over how great you are when you could be getting better, why hide deficiencies instead of overcoming them. Why look for friends or partners who will just sure up your self esteem instead of ones who will also challenge you to grow. And why seek out the tried and true instead of experiences that will stretch you.
The passion for stretching yourself and sticking to it even more especially when it’s not going well is the hallmark of the growth mindset. This mindset allows people to thrive during some of the most difficult times in their lives. Exceptional individuals strive to identify their strengths and weaknesses and they work diligently, daily to always become a better version of themselves.- Carol S. Dweck, Ph.D.
Today and everyday be the best version of YOU! – Stay Motivated!
“A pessimist is a man who thinks everybody is as nasty as himself, and hates them for it.”
― George Bernard Shaw
“I am fundamentally an optimist. Whether that comes from nature or nurture, I cannot say. Part of being optimistic is keeping one’s head pointed toward the sun, one’s feet moving forward. There were many dark moments when my faith in humanity was sorely tested, but I would not and could not give myself up to despair. That way lays defeat and death.” ― Nelson Mandela
“TO BE HOPEFUL in bad times is not just foolishly romantic. It is based on the fact that human history is a history not only of cruelty, but also of compassion, sacrifice, courage, kindness.
What we choose to emphasize in this complex history will determine our lives. If we see only the worst, it destroys our capacity to do something. If we remember those times and places—and there are so many—where people have behaved magnificently, this gives us the energy to act, and at least the possibility of sending this spinning top of a world in a different direction.
And if we do act, in however small a way, we don’t have to wait for some grand utopian future. The future is an infinite succession of presents, and to live now as we think human beings should live, in defiance of all that is bad around us, is itself a marvelous victory.” ― Howard Zinn
“You Are A Magnificent, Motivated, Miracle Who Was Placed On This Earth To Achieve Marvelous Things!” – Dwaun S. Cox
To be so strong that nothing
can disturb your peace of mind.
To talk health, happiness, and prosperity
to every person you meet.
To make all your friends feel
that there is something in them
To look at the sunny side of everything
and make your optimism come true.
To think only the best, to work only for the best,
and to expect only the best.
To be just as enthusiastic about the success of others
as you are about your own.
To forget the mistakes of the past
and press on to the greater achievements of the future.
To wear a cheerful countenance at all times
and give every living creature you meet a smile.
To give so much time to the improvement of yourself
that you have no time to criticize others.
To be too large for worry, too noble for anger, too strong for fear,
and too happy to permit the presence of trouble.
To think well of yourself and to proclaim this fact to the world,
not in loud words but great deeds.
To live in faith that the whole world is on your side
so long as you are true to the best that is in you.”
― Christian D. Larson, Your Forces and How to Use Them
“A pessimist sees the difficulty in every opportunity; an optimist sees the opportunity in every difficulty.” – Winston Churchill
Optimism, isn’t just defined as the tendency to expect things to turn out better than probability predicts, nor is pessimism defined only as the tendency to expect things to turn out more poorly. Both terms are also used to describe the way we think about the causes of adversity, pessimism in particular being defined as the tendency to think about them in a way that makes us feel powerless. A pessimistic self-explanatory style, then, describes the tendency to attribute the causes of adversity to forces that are internal (“This is all my fault”), universal (“This affects absolutely everything”), and immutable (“This isn’t changeable”).- Dr. Lickerman
If you have lost your faith, belief or optimism it can be relearnt. You can begin by paying particular attention to your thoughts, speech and your attitude. Be purposely positive. Abolish and eradicate any thoughts, words, or deeds that don’t bless yourself or the lives of others. Your spirit is built for the supernatural. Faith smiles at the impossible. Our perspective is so much better for us and everyone we are connected to when we change our attitudes towards our lives and become incurable optimists.
I love those who yearn for the impossible. Magic is believing in yourself, if you can do that you can make anything happen.” – Johann Wolfgang von Goethe
Be purposely positive, become an Incurable optimist and Stay Motivated! – Dwaun S. Cox
“In a world where death is the hunter, my friend, there is no time for regrets or doubts. There is only time for decisions.” ― Carlos Castaneda
“Life should not be a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving safely in a pretty and well preserved body, but rather to skid in broadside in a cloud of smoke, thoroughly used up, totally worn out, and loudly proclaiming “Wow! What a Ride!” ― Hunter S. Thompson
“Life is either a daring adventure, or nothing at all.” – Helen Keller
The average person tip-toes through life hoping to make it safely to death!
What is it that you have a burning desire to do, but are afraid to try? What would you do if you knew you couldn’t fail? Prosperity, fortune and change has always favored the bold. Don’t allow your insecurities to be the reason you “wait to live your life”. You should attempt something daily that you have been timid about or afraid to do; it will build your self-confidence and ultimately add to your success.
Don’t fret failure, defeat or disappointment. Stop discounting yourself, you possess all you’ve ever needed to become the greatest you possible. Boldly facing your fears with faith will assist you in your triumphs! Express yourself at your highest level by using your faith, believing in yourself and boldly doing anything that you would dare to do at all!
“You’ve got to be bold in life. If you go through life being casual, you’ll end up a casualty!”
“If you can keep your head when all about you
Are losing theirs and blaming it on you,
If you can trust yourself when all men doubt you,
But make allowance for their doubting too;
If you can wait and not be tired by waiting,
Or being lied about, don’t deal in lies,
Or being hated, don’t give way to hating,
And yet don’t look too good, nor talk too wise:
If you can dream—and not make dreams your master;
If you can think—and not make thoughts your aim;
If you can meet with Triumph and Disaster
And treat those two impostors just the same;
If you can bear to hear the truth you’ve spoken
Twisted by knaves to make a trap for fools,
Or watch the things you gave your life to, broken,
And stoop and build ’em up with worn-out tools:
If you can make one heap of all your winnings
And risk it on one turn of pitch-and-toss,
And lose, and start again at your beginnings
And never breathe a word about your loss;
If you can force your heart and nerve and sinew
To serve your turn long after they are gone,
And so hold on when there is nothing in you
Except the Will which says to them: ‘Hold on!’
If you can talk with crowds and keep your virtue,
Or walk with Kings—nor lose the common touch,
If neither foes nor loving friends can hurt you,
If all men count with you, but none too much;
If you can fill the unforgiving minute
With sixty seconds’ worth of distance run,
Yours is the Earth and everything that’s in it,
And—which is more—you’ll be a Man, my son!”
– Rudy Kipling
Many people don’t act on their desires because the people in their lives don’t support them. Don’t expect everybody to be excited about your dream. They may not see your vision, and you shouldn’t expect them to. Your vision is your vision for a reason. There is something that you are to do that no one else can do as well as you, and you can’t expect other people to champion you to your destiny. Your journey may be a lonely one that you have to encourage yourself to endeavor. Believe in who you are and don’t allow the doubt from others to cause you to doubt yourself.
“Solitude is strength; to depend on the presence of the crowd is weakness. The man who needs a mob to nerve him is much more alone than he imagines.” – Paul Brunton
It comes a time in everyone’s life when they are confronted with the choice of either going along with the status quo, making a decision that most people would make, or stepping out on faith, believing in themselves and following their dreams. Always make sure that you choose the latter.
“Believe in yourself, take on your challenges, dig deep within yourself to conquer fears. Never let anyone bring you down. You got to keep going.” – Chantal Sutherland

“No matter who you are, you’re one day closer to leaving this earth, so you might as well live life to its fullest, by becoming who you were created to be.”
The richest land in the world is not the gold mines, diamond mines, or the oil fields. The wealthiest land in the world is the cemetery, because so many great people have given the grave yard a great gift. So many Doctors, Lawyers, Singers, Actors, Writers, Inventors, Athletes, Business Owners, and the list goes on and on with those who have died without ever becoming who they were supposed to be. Decide what you want and decide what you’re willing to trade to get it. Vow to achieve all that you were put here to accomplish, and die empty. Enjoy your life as if there’s no tomorrow, because there’s no guarantee that there is.
“We are built to conquer environment, solve problems, achieve goals, and we find no real satisfaction or happiness in life without obstacles to conquer and goals to achieve.” – Maxwell Maltz
“Today I will conquer or die” – The Gathering Storm
